Nurses are in high demand in a variety of medical settings. As a nursing student, you will develop a base of knowledge in biology, chemistry, and anatomy that will prepare you to go on to nursing school. We will help you develop a holistic view of health and faith as they work together in the healing process.



Requirements total 64 hours. This includes 31 hours of science and mathematics, 12 hours of social sciences, 9 hours of humanities, 9 hours of biblical studies, and 3 hours of supporting courses. This is a recommended two-year program for students transferring to a Bachelor of Science nursing program at another institution. In this program, you can take courses such as:

  • Essentials of Organic Biochemistry
  • Introduction to Bioethics
  • Microbiology

As a nurse, being well rounded in your training will make you stand out in your skills and care for others. At Trinity, you will have the opportunity to not only take your core nursing courses, but also delve into biblical studies, psychology, and philosophy. Once you complete your program, you will be prepared not only for more advanced studies, but also to put your skills to use in ministry or on the mission field.
