General Studies Overview
- 60 credit hours
- Various faculty/adjuncts across disciplines
- Did You Know? You’ll have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular activities on campus such as the school newspaper, student government, or intramural sports to hone your skills and develop community with other majors.
Requirements total 60 hours, which are distributed among three divisions. The following courses are excluded:
ENG 214, 241X, 242X, 243X, 441X, 442X, HPW 180, HPW activities classes, MUZ 214, applied music, and music
organizations. Students must also meet general education requirements. The number of hours within the major that
meet general education requirements depends on the three divisions selected. Interesting courses you will take could include:
